Open shooting competition rules
Grobiņa Grand Prix 2020 and
Latvian Championship English Sporting
Organizer Latvian sporting federation, Grobiņa municipality
council and. Agency “Sport center of Grobiņa” together
with sport shooting club “Lāčkoki”.
Competiton goal To promote stand shooting between the citizens of
municipality and to attract citizens of Grobiņa and other
municipalities to this active kind of sport.

Place and time 19th and 20th of September 2020
Grobiņa municipality, shooting range “Lāčkoki”
Competition agenda training 18th of September from 10.00 till 17.00
Competition 19th of September at 10.00
Competition program 19th of September ENGLISH SPORTING – 150
targets,
20th of September COMPAK SPORTING – 100
targets.

Cartridges The load of the cartridges shall not exceed 28 grams of
shot. The shot shall be spherical shot of normal
production lead, diameter between 2 mm and 2.5 mm
Evaluation Competition members are assessed by following
International COMPAK sporting rules and English
sporting rules;
The only assessment- individual;
Grobiņa Grand Prix Contestants are evaluated in three
groups-(A), (B), (C).
The distribution of groups in Athletes occurs after the
first day –organizer will toss up 10 shooting stands and
count the result. All contestants equally evaluate in
three groups.

Awards Grobiņa Grand Prix 2020: First, second and third place
winners of each group will be awarded with diplomas
and personal prizes;
Latvian Championship English Sporting: all
participants of the competition are divided into
categories: junior (01/01/2000 – 31/12/2007), lady,

senior (01/01/1955 – 31/12/1964), OPEN.
The winners of the 1st – 3rd place will be awarded with
cups, in case at least 6 athletes start in the category, if
the number of participants in any of the categories is
less than 6, then only one winner will be awarded.
